Coming from Texas myself... i can tell you this is the closest thing you will get to Texas BBQ. The pulled pork sandwich is fire! Delicious sauce and tender meat. Definitely recommend!

Meat was bland, sauce was good.
Baked beans could have been sweet but ok. It was more like chili! Corn and jalepeno chowder was good.
Not good enough for us to come back! -

Not bad at all. I think the tri tip and ribs are grilled and have a slight smokiness to them. They were drenched in sauce (which had a good flavor) so I couldn't exactly tell. I believe the ribs were St. Louis style but cut even smaller. Maybe they were using the rest of the rib for rib tips, cuzz they were not the full rib, not even for St. Louis style ribs. The tri tip is sliced thin and into little pieces, then drenched in sauce so I am unable to comment on the flavor of the meat, but it was tender. I tend to think you are covering up some shortcoming grill wise when your bbq is drenched in sauce. The saving grace is that the sauce is bomb. The corn and green beans were way too soft. Corn did have a good flavor tho. I don't recommend the green beans. The meal came with two super soft pieces of bread which hit the spot. It also came with a free sample size of hot link which was delish. I will come back to try more. There is room for improvement on the grill action tho. They also have beer.

There aren't really words to describe this place. All of their meats are fantastic. They have the best wings, ever. Everything here is great, however, I would skip the green beans.

Maybe it's because I grew up with real Texas bbq, but if it's good you don't need to drown your brisket in sauce. Worst bbq place I've been to miss Texas food :( California food is the worst
